Job summary

Ford is seeking a Maintenance Technician at BlueOval Battery Park Michigan to lead data-driven maintenance and continuous improvement of production equipment. You will manage preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, calibrate instruments, and ensure safety and documentation practices are followed.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operators and engineers to drive equipment reliability, quality, and process optimization on rotating shifts, with a training and launch phase

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: High School Diploma, GED or equiv.
• Industrial electrical experience or equivalent training
• Knowledge of Industrial Electronics and NEC

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Inspect, clean, lubricate, and perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Equipment Calibration: Calibrate critical measurement devices to ensure accuracy in production.
• Quality Control: Monitor processes to identify defects and take corrective action to maintain quality.
• Data Analysis: Interpret equipment performance data to identify improvements and optimization opportunities.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures, wear PPE, and report hazards.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Collaboration: Work with operators, engineers, and other technicians to address issues.
