Heidelberg Materials seeks an Electrical Maintenance Manager to lead reliability programs, guide plant leadership on electrical maintenance, and drive best practices across cement operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, ISA and electrical codes and standards.
• Experience with substations, power distribution, high-voltage equipment, motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and industrial control systems.
• Expertise in power system analysis: relay coordination, load flow, harmonics, and power quality.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills; proficient in MS Office; able to travel across North America.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Corporate Electrical Reliability Program to improve asset availability and reduce unplanned downtime across cement operations.
• Provide electrical maintenance expertise and guidance to plant leadership, engineering teams, and operations staff.
• Support facilities in implementing maintenance and reliability programs, standards, and best practices across Heidelberg Materials.
• Develop and maintain corporate standards for electrical asset management, power system reliability, predictive technologies, and spare parts management.
• Lead root cause investigations for significant electrical failures and drive standardized corrective actions.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support to minimize operational disruptions.
• Assist plants with spare parts strategy, inventory, repairs, and major replacements through onsite and remote support.
• Develop and deliver technical and maintenance training programs to strengthen workforce capability.
• Manage major electrical projects and implement emerging technologies, digital solutions, and maintenance innovations.

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing*** Lead the Corporate Electrical Reliability Program to improve asset availability, reduce unplanned downtime, and optimize lifecycle costs across cement operations.* Provide electrical maintenance expertise, guidance, and support to plant leadership, engineering teams, and operational personnel.* Support facilities in implementing Heidelberg Materials maintenance and reliability programs, standards, and best practices.* Develop and maintain corporate standards for electrical asset management, power system reliability, predictive technologies, condition-based maintenance, and spare parts management.* Lead root cause investigations for significant electrical failures and drive standardized corrective actions across operations.* Provide troubleshooting and technical support for complex electrical system issues to minimize operational disruptions.* Assist plants with critical spare parts strategy, inventory management, equipment repairs, and major equipment replacements through onsite and remote support.* Develop and deliver technical and maintenance training programs to strengthen workforce capability and performance.* Manage major electrical projects while identifying and implementing emerging technologies, digital solutions, and maintenance innovations that support business objectives. **What Are We Looking For*** Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Electrical Engineering strongly preferred.* Minimum of 10 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, including electrical reliability program leadership in a heavy industrial environment.* Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, ISA, and other applicable electrical codes, standards, and best practices.* Experience with substations, power distribution systems, high-voltage equipment, motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and industrial control systems.* Expertise in power system analysis, including relay coordination, load flow studies, harmonics mitigation, and power quality analysis.* Solid understanding of electrical safety, high-voltage switching, arc flash protection, risk mitigation, and preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance methodologies.* Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and the ability to travel throughout North America and work in industrial environments. **Work Environment**Corporate office and industrial environment. Extensive travel to plants, quarries, terminals, and other operational locations may be required. Work may involve exposure to industrial environments, varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and moving equipment.
