Qualifications

• One year related work experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, safety practices, and use of trade tools.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, read logs and reports, and perform repairs.
• Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet, manipulate heavy equipment and up to 70 lbs., and work in hazardous environments.

Responsibilities

• Functions as an unskilled helper to electric shop personnel and maintenance mechanics.
• Gather, organize, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
• Pull wires, bend and install conduit, and mount electrical boxes and fixtures.
• Drill holes, cut openings, and perform basic construction tasks as directed.
• Test electrical systems and equipment using basic tools under supervision.
• Load and unload materials and equipment.
• Completes simple reports reflecting status of assigned maintenance projects.
