Job summary

Ruveon in Muscatine, IA is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable operation of plant systems. You will analyze data, implement maintenance strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include specifying instruments, reviewing vendor data, creating maintenance plans, and documenting electrical and instrumentation activities. A BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent by Aug 2027 is preferred, with 0–2 years of experience and a strong safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or BS/BA completed by August 2027.
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems in process operations.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with safety culture commitment.
• Clear written and verbal communication and ability to produce technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Follow and contribute to electrical norms, standards, guidelines, and safety methods.
• Support improvement projects including safety, yield, quality and reliability.
• Specify instruments, control devices, motors and other electrical components for plant applications.
• Review vendor information for instrumentation and electrical components.
• Prepare maintenance plans to restore equipment quickly, balancing repair costs and future reliability.
• Assist other engineers and technicians with instrumentation and electrical performance.
• Create and modify process operation documents, safety notes and electrical drawings.
• Engage in self-development and safety coaching to improve site safety.
• Support site production system improvements and basic electrical maintenance tasks.
