Job summary

ECG Facilities Services is seeking an experienced Electrical/HVAC Maintenance Engineer to join their team in a mobile role covering the Northwest. The position entails general electrical and HVAC plant maintenance, performing repairs and ensuring safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, a background in facilities maintenance, and relevant qualifications including an Approved Electrical Apprenticeship and 18th Edition Accreditation. Company benefits include an on-call allowance and training.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years’ experience in a similar Electrical/HVAC/Maintenance Engineer role.
• Knowledge and experience with electrical installations, including wiring and testing.
• Ideal candidates must come from a Facilities Maintenance background.

Responsibilities

• Perform general Electrical and HVAC plant maintenance.
• Conduct maintenance, repairs, and replacements of lighting and electrical systems.
• Maintain on-site log books and permits ensuring accuracy.

Skills

Knowledge of electrical systems

Experience in Electrical/HVAC/Maintenance Engineer role

Knowledge of BMS control systems

Wiring and testing experience

Job Responsibilities

• General Electrical and HVAC plant maintenance
• Maintenance / repairs / replacements of lighting, rewires, electrical testing and all general electrical duties; including all other duties including mechanical & plumbing on site
• Health and safety awareness
• Maintain on site log books, permits & site paperwork to ensure they are completed and up to date
• Cover Predominantly Northwest area as a mobile role

Skills & Qualifications Required

• Knowledge of electrical systems and over 5 years’ experience in a similar Electrical / HVAC / Maintenance Engineer role
• Knowledge and experience of all electrical plant including, but not limited to Air Handling Units and their associated controls, pumps, heat exchangers, boiler plant (excluding gas side pipe work and accessories)
• Knowledge and experience of BMS control systems
• Knowledge and experience of all electrical installations, including wiring, testing, issuing written electrical test/minor works reports
• Ideal candidates come from a Facilities Maintenance background and have worked in a similar environment

Qualifications

• Approved Electrical Apprenticeship (minimum)
• Approved Electrician with 18th Edition Accreditation (minimum)
• Testing & Inspection 2391 Certificate (beneficial)
