Job summary

ECG Facilities Services is seeking a maintenance technician to perform plumbing, tiling, carpentry, and handyman tasks. The role requires adherence to health and safety standards and a clean driving licence. You will keep logbooks current and update the CAFM PDA for clients.

Experience with basic maintenance activities and trade training is preferred; company vehicle is provided and 40 hours per week are expected. This position is based in the Northeast area.

Qualifications

• Experience meeting health and safety obligations in maintenance.
• Full and clean driving licence (vehicle provided).
• Evidence of relevant trade training or maintenance‑related courses.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic plumbing maintenance tasks.

• Demonstrate handyman skills in daily tasks.
• Adhere to health and safety obligations for maintenance work.
• Keep logbooks up to date and report faults.
• Maintain PDA updates through CAFM system and client communications.

Skills & Qualifications Required

A good working knowledge of basic plumbing maintenance.

A good understanding of tiling and carpentry.

Must be able to show good handyman skills.

Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities.

Full and clean driving licence (vehicle provided)
