Job summary

High Steel Structures seeks experienced electrical maintenance personnel for 1st-shift operations. The role focuses on planning and performing repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment across fabrication shops and office areas in Lancaster, PA.

A strong background in industrial maintenance and PLC/VFD/CNC repair is essential. Candidates should hold a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate flexibility for overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial/commercial maintenance/electrical preferred.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting desired.
• Experience with repairs of VFDs, PLCs, CNC controls/drives required.
• Welding equipment and overhead crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment repairs.
• Conduct building repairs across fabrication shops and office areas.
• Support maintenance efforts on emergency repairs and scheduled downtimes.
• Work 1st shift: Mon-Fri 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with every 5th Saturday morning.

We are seeking experienced individuals with a strong background in Electrical Maintenance, for our 1st-shift operations.

First-shift coworkers work Mon-Fri, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM , as well as every 5th Saturday morning.

On assignment or following established schedules (including some weekends and holidays), this position will be responsible for planning and performing a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment repairs as well as building repairs on a variety of equipment, services, and structures throughout the fabrication shops and office areas.

Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required.
• 5 or more years of experience in industrial/commercial maintenance/electrical preferred
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting desired
• Experience with repairs of VFD's, PLC's CNC controls/drives required
• Welding equipment and overhead crane experience preferred
• Flexibility required to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
• A valid PA driver's license.
