The State of South Carolina seeks a Program Director for the Electrical Line Worker Technology program. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, teaching, curricular development, and managing personnel. The ideal candidate holds an associate degree, has teaching experience, and showcases strong interpersonal skills. Applications are preferred by May 2, 2025.
Under the supervision of the dean, the program director is responsible for the daily operations of the Electrical Line Worker Technology program. The program director's duties include teaching courses, designing and developing curriculum, hiring and evaluating adjunct personnel, evaluating student performance, selecting textbooks and materials, managing the program budget, and advising students. Additionally, the program director oversees the maintenance and safe operation of all program labs.
This position requires the ability to work in environments characterized by continual changes in information technology and to perform all aspects of electrical line work outdoors physically. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
