Sierra Air is seeking an Electrical Manager to lead and grow our residential electrical department. You will oversee service, installation, and repair operations, ensuring code compliance, safety, quality workmanship, and profitability.

The role emphasizes building a high-performing team, managing budgets, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while expanding the department’s capabilities across home service projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential electrical leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead, grow, and develop electrical teams.
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, installations, and NEC codes.
• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred or as required).
• Experience managing budgets, profitability, KPIs, and operations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of electricians and apprentices.
• Establish a culture of accountability, safety, professionalism, and customer service.
• Oversee day-to-day electrical operations, including service, repair, replacement, and installation projects.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC requirements and local codes.
• Conduct field inspections and quality assurance reviews.
• Provide technical guidance for complex electrical diagnostics and installs.
• Collaborate with leadership to set goals, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Monitor KPIs, labor productivity, revenue, gross margin, and department profitability.
• Optimize scheduling and resource allocation for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Work with sales, dispatch, and customer service for seamless operations.
• Support estimating and proposal development for larger projects.
• Drive continuous improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
