Job summary

Solutions Driven in Fond du Lac, WI seeks a senior Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and support electrical systems for oil, gas, and water facilities, focusing on power distribution and safety. This role includes mentoring a growing team and expanding data centre power integration.

A PE license and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering are required, with 5+ years of experience in industrial power systems and NEC/NFPA/IEEE standards expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 5+ years of experience, with some leadership/mentoring.
• Experience in electrical design for industrial facilities (oil & gas, water treatment, etc.).
• Experience in power systems including solar, renewable, or substation work.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical plans and perform load calculations.
• Review one-lines and schematics.
• Ensure designs meet NEC, IEEE, NFPA standards.
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MCCs, VFDs, transformers, switchgear, and control systems.
• Mentor 2–3 team members as the function grows.
