Job summary

Loyola University Maryland Main Campus is seeking an Electrician II to perform electrical installs, repairs and maintenance on campus facilities. You will work with transformers, generators, circuit breakers, MCCs, conduits and panels, test circuits and ensure safety and code compliance.

Required are 3–5 years of experience, vocational/technical training, and Journeyman or Master license. Roles may include on-call rotations and weekend/evening coverage to support campus operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a lead electrical position and knowledge of local electrical codes.
• Ability to apply electrical formulas and conversion tables correctly.
• Willingness to rotate through on-call duties and work weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical work, install, repair or maintain transformers, generators, circuit breakers, MCCs, conduits and panels.
• Test electrical circuits and ensure safety and code compliance; prepare sketches and estimates.
• Assist with electrical renovations and coordinate with contractors as required.
