Job summary

Mike's Mechanical is seeking an Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across multiple sites. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot issues with testing devices, and ensure compliance with NEC standards.

The role involves fieldwork with exposure to outdoor conditions and occasional climbs. The ideal candidate has electrical experience or is enrolled in related schooling, can pass background/drug screening, and holds a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

**Position: Electrician Reports To: Electrical Manager****Essential Job Functions****Work Hours**This is a non-exempt position. Work hours to be determined based on the needs of the business. Overtime may be required to meet business needs.**Competencies**This position requires strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards in stressful situations. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. This position requires a self-starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and mechanical aptitude.**Education and Experience**Previous experience or enrollment in appropriate schooling (determined by management). Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.**Work Environment**Frequently works in outside weather conditions. May be exposed to uncomfortable temperatures and/or conditions. Occasionally exposed to hot, wet and/humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Moderately loud noise level while in the field. Occasionally exposed to dark, confined workspaces such as attics or crawl spaces. May be required to perform work from ladders and heights.**Physical Demands**Moderate to heavy working conditions. Frequently required to stand, talk and hear. Constantly required to use hand and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk. Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
