Job summary

Ontivity is seeking a Journeyman Electrician in Colorado to join a growing team supporting next-generation wireless infrastructure, including 5G deployment and large-venue projects. Expect leadership roles, safety focus, and collaboration with a skilled crew on complex builds.

The role offers competitive pay of $40–$50 per hour DOE, a comprehensive benefits package, tuition assistance, and pathways for upward mobility. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills and desire to grow.
• Ability to work independently and meet daily schedules.
• Knowledge of proper use of tools, equipment, and materials on construction projects.
• Respect for company vehicles, tools, and property.
• Journeyman license in surrounding states (Preferred).
• OSHA 30 (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Construct AC power systems with voltages up to 1000V.
• Install and maintain secondary power systems, including standby generators and battery systems.
• Work with new and existing utility services.
• Perform AC to DC power conversion.
• Interpret construction drawings and one-line diagrams (Adobe or Bluebeam PDF editor experience preferred).
• Install and troubleshoot low-voltage alarming and control wiring.
• Troubleshoot low- and medium-voltage electrical systems.
• Install EMT, GRC, and PVC conduit.
• Perform electrical testing and calculations (conductor sizing, fault current, voltage drop).
• Install step-down transformers and electrical enclosures.
• Supervise and mentor electrical apprentices.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
