Electrical Journeyman

We are seeking Journeyman Electricians to support the construction in the Southwest, including commercial, industrial, mission‑critical and water/wastewater treatment facilities.

Project Assignments

Data center and semi‑conductor programs.

Hours

50-Hour work weeks plus optional overtime.

Location

Mesa, AZ and other various project locations

Responsibilities
  • Safety‑first culture.
  • Direct electrical construction work for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with Field Leadership to maintain project flow and schedule.
  • Enforce all NEC local codes and stay up to date on industry changes.
  • Interprets drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems.
  • Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations.
  • Installs control and distribution apparatus’ and fastens in place.
  • Test and start up systems and continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components by testing and starting up systems.
  • Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
  • May be required to pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
  • Disassembles and repairs defective electrical equipment or systems.
  • Operate electrical and mechanical hand tools, power, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical tools.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of working knowledge of electrical construction experience.
  • Proficient knowledge and compliance with all NEC and OSHA safety standards.
  • Possess strong expertise in all aspects of trade‑related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, trade‑related calculations, blueprint and drawing interpretation, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, unassisted, frequently throughout the day.
  • Ability to work from various heights via ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and other safe work platforms and area.
  • Able to work a 40‑hour work week, with overtime and off‑hour shifts as required.
  • Able to work in extreme weather conditions and elements, indoor or outdoor, including heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and snow depending on the job location.
