HotFoot Recruiters is excited to hire a team of Journeyman Electrical Technicians to support a fast-paced, high-tech construction site in North Phoenix. This role involves hands‑on electrical work, including installation, termination, QA/QC, and maintenance of critical electrical systems in a cleanroom and high‑tech manufacturing facility environment. Type: Full‑Time | Temp‑To‑Hire
Pay: $51.72/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday 5A-4P | Sat 5A-2P
Overtime is mandatory and paid OT rate.
Responsibilities
- Execute hands‑on electrical tasks including cabling, terminations, and QA/QC activities across systems.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly inspection and maintenance reports as assigned by the supervisor.
- Perform routine checks on electrical systems, equipment, and components to detect and resolve potential or existing issues.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve the longevity of electrical assets.
- Diagnose electrical faults and apply effective solutions to maintain smooth construction and operational processes.
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, components, and electrical equipment as necessary.
- Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, fixtures, and devices when required.
- Coordinate with engineering teams and other personnel to support planning and execution of electrical projects.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable safety standards, regulations, and codes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance, inspections, and repair activities.
- Review project progress, material consumption, and cost reports, and recommend schedule adjustments when needed.
- Evaluate and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) and process change orders in a timely manner.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal tracking and client updates.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to maintenance staff and team members as required.
- Respond quickly to emergency electrical issues and perform necessary corrective actions.
- Stay informed on new technologies, tools, and best practices in the electrical field.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in a technician role.
- OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 certification is an advantage.
- Must pass both written and practical electrical assessments.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and applicable codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast‑paced construction environment.
- Good command of English with effective communication skills.
Required Tools
Candidates must have their own tools appropriate for journeyman‑level work, including but not limited to:
- Core hand tools: lineman pliers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, tape measure, level, hammer, channel locks
- Electrical testing tools: voltage tester, multimeter or clamp meter, polarity/GFI tester
- Installation tools: conduit reamer, nut drivers, wrench sets, socket sets, KO punch
- Power tools: battery drill/impact and drill bit set
- Additional tools such as cable cutters, fish tape, and layout tools
Preferred Qualifications
- NFPA 70E certified.
- CPR/First‑Aid certified.
- Journeyman Electrician License.
- Completion of apprenticeship program or formal electrical training.
- Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, or high‑tech construction environments.
- Verbal fluency in Mandarin or Spanish is a plus.
