Job summary

Ramos CS, now part of Colliers Engineering & Design, seeks an Electrical/IT Inspector to support LAWA's capital program. You will conduct daily inspections of electrical and IT systems on terminal projects, review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change orders, and ensure compliance with NEC and LAWA standards.

The role requires 3+ years of electrical/IT inspection experience, ICC certification, and up-to-date NFPA 70E and Cal-OSHA 30-hour training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical/IT inspection experience on building construction.
• ICC Commercial Electrical Inspector certification.
• NFPA 70E training within the last 3 years.
• Cal-OSHA 30-hour training within the last 4 years.
• Experience coordinating with contractors and city officials on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of electrical/IT systems across buildings and terminals.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, change orders; document findings.
• Verify NEC/NFPA code compliance with LAWA standards.
• Track field changes, quantities, and payment progress.
• Support inspections and testing with engineers and contractors.
