Job summary

Cogentrix is seeking an IC & E Technician at Hamilton Liberty in Towanda, PA. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance, and construction of electrical and control systems. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience and ability to work with complex electronic control equipment.

The role requires physical endurance in various environments and includes a schedule of (4) 10-hour days each week with rotation. Ideal candidates should have a background in Electronics or Instrumentation and the ability to work safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in instruments and controls.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have legal authority to work permanently in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and calibrate digital and electronic instruments.
• Interpret and prepare technical drawings from schematics.
• Evaluate and calibrate instruments for conformance with specifications.

Skills

Knowledge of medium voltage electrical equipment

Troubleshooting equipment

Technical competence

Interpret technical documentation

Ability to work outdoors in varied conditions

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate’s degree in Electronics / Instrumentation Technology (preferred)
