Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant operation. You will own critical process areas, provide maintenance management oversight, and drive continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge to perform maintenance on complex industrial electrical and instrument systems.
• Ability to lead minor and major process retrofits and projects.
• Ability to read and interpret vendor/manufacturer schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and instrument and control systems to maximize plant availability.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean components in substations and generation facilities.
• Lead job direction for contractors and coordinate startup of new equipment and systems.
• Install, configure and repair process software systems and HMI, PLCs, and networks.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with Rainbow Energy Centers Electrical Safety Program.
