Job summary

Sofidel America of Circleville, Ohio is seeking a skilled Electronic and Instrumentation Technician to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining electrical and instrumentation systems, improving plant efficiency and reducing costs while ensuring safe operations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, PLC/DCS programming, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with contractors. A two‑year degree in electrical/automation fields and industry experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electro‑Mechanical Engineering or Automation/Engineering preferred; high school or equivalent required.
• Two+ years of related industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with instrumentation, electrical systems and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supports GMP/HACCP for a safe, sanitary workplace.
• Reads and uses electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Performs preventative maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Program monitoring systems; troubleshoot errors; optimize equipment performance.
• Interact with contractors and vendors to improve efficiency and safety.
• Mentor others and assist in on‑the‑job training.
