Job description

Large, Industrial plant has an immediate need for a talented E & I Technician to perform maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting work involved with electrical and instrumentation systems within the facility.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates degree in a technical field
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing/heavy industrial environment.
• Proven background maintaining electrical machinery & equipment within a heavy industrial manufacturing plant.
• Knowledgeable about motors, switchgears, electrical distribution systems, transformers, starters, etc.
• Solid experience with low-medium voltage and strong working knowledge of electrical systems in machinery/equipment within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong DCS background
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical equipment issues within the plant.
• Exposure on the Instrumentation side is desirable (Level, Flow, Pressure, Temperature, pH, ORP, and Density instruments).
• Position also requires DCS / PLC troubleshooting and process analyzer calibration & troubleshooting.
• High level of mechanical aptitude
