Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a skilled technician to troubleshoot, install, repair and operate mechanical, electrical and instrument equipment across compressor stations and processing plants. You will understand PLC logic, supervise contractors, and maintain alarms and sensor tests while coordinating with project teams.

The role requires knowledge of motor controls, electrical prints, and the ability to make red-line changes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, repair and operate mechanical, electrical and instrument equipment.
• Understand PLC troubleshooting guidelines and logic for control valves.
• Maintain inventory of electrical supplies and repair parts for emergencies.
• Supervise electrical contractors and coordinate with project managers, engineering and contractors on new projects.
• Maintain controls, monitor alarms and sensor tests; schedule electrical maintenance for the location.
