Job summary
Ag Processing Inc. seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor for our Hastings, NE plant to lead electrical and control system operations. You will mentor technicians and drive reliability by overseeing PLC/HMI systems and project execution.
You will develop training programs, coordinate upgrades, and ensure safe, compliant maintenance practices. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes continuous improvement in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Qualifications
- Need strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls and instrumentation.
- PLC programming and diagnostics experience essential.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Supervise technicians, assign daily tasks and priorities.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and optimize PLCs, HMIs and process control systems.
- Lead design, installation and commissioning of new electrical and control systems.
- Schedule inspections, calibrations and preventive maintenance with documentation.
- Coordinate projects with management and contractors to minimize downtime.
- Develop and deliver training for PLC, HMI and electrical systems.
