Job summary

Rain Carbon Inc. in Sulphur, LA is seeking an instrumentation/electrical technician to troubleshoot, analyze and repair plant instrumentation and electrical equipment, ensuring reliable operation and ISO-compliant performance.

You will calibrate transmitters, sensors and process instrumentation, work with PLCs (ControlLogix), read ladder logic, and perform calibration and maintenance on valves, transmitters, analyzers, HMIs, and power distribution.

Qualifications

• Two years of related technical training.
• Five years of related experience required.
• Proficiency with process instrumentation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic electrical and electronics test equipment.
• Perform repair-oriented activities daily based on needs and schedules.
• Calibrate transmitters, sensors and analyzers.
• Understand and repair pneumatics, PLCs and HMI interfaces.
• Work with medium/low voltage distribution and ControlLogix PLCs.
• Repair instrumentation/electrical auxiliary equipment in plants.
