Job summary

Kiwa PPI is expanding its Quality Control team, seeking an experienced Shop Inspector- Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector. You will witness inspections, verify equipment calibration, and produce clear reports to support informed decisions at supplier and fabrication sites.

As customer representative, you will communicate results, ensure safety, and uphold Kiwa PPI quality management practices while contributing to continuous improvement on projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shop inspection experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of third-party inspection processes (NDE, FAT, Assembly).
• Knowledge of API, ASNT, ASME, NACE, DS-1 standards.

Responsibilities

• Witness inspections and testing per plans, standards, and requirements.
• Verify calibration and certification of inspection equipment.
• Validate technician certifications are current for scope of activity.
• Generate reports documenting rejection and acceptance of inspections.
• Communicate results to project coordinators and customers.
• Promote safe work practices and compliance with safety guidelines.
