Job summary

Kiwa is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to perform inspections and testing activities while ensuring compliance with industry codes and specifications.

In this role, you will be responsible for verifying calibrations, communicating results, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of shop inspection experience and a high school diploma. This position offers an independent contractor schedule of 4-5 days per week for 6 months to a year.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shop inspection experience.
• Thorough understanding of third-party inspection processes.
• Basic PC skills and some proficiency with spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Witness inspections and testing per defined plans.
• Verify equipment calibration and technician certifications.
• Generate reports for inspections and testing activities.
