Job summary

Energy Transfer in Houston, TX, seeks an Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer to join a multi-discipline engineering team supporting pump, compressor stations and pipeline facilities. You will develop electrical and automation system designs, review specifications, and lead commissioning of power systems and SCADA.

Strong communication and project coordination are essential for delivering high-quality capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; P.E. license is a plus.
• 5+ years of industry experience; experience with electrical/instrumentation systems design.
• Experience with third-party engineering firms preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, Low Voltage <5Kv, Medium Voltage 5kv-15kv.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for capital projects through design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Lead internal engineering team and coordinate with Project Managers to deliver on time and within budget.
• Review vendor quotations and technical drawings for compliance with standards.
• Lead commissioning of power systems, panels, instrumentation, and SCADA systems.
• Develop and review electrical diagrams, load lists, and control schemes.
