Job Description
The E/I Mechanic supports pulp and paper manufacturing equipment, playing a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations. The role requires electrician skills to ensure all electrical and instrumentation work complies with State and Federal codes. The technician works closely with operations, responsible for electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic hardware and software aspects, including components like VFDs, motors, solenoids, limit switches, PLC I/O modules, sensors, and transmitters. The position involves planning, procurement, documentation, and knowledge sharing for maintenance activities, emphasizing safety and compliance.
