Job summary

Canadian Breaks Consulting LLC is seeking an I&E Construction Manager to oversee electrical, building management, and controls for mission-critical facilities. You will lead pre-construction, develop schedules, review P&IDs/BIM models, and coordinate with MEP teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience in electrical systems and holds expertise in CSI MasterFormat, AutoCAD, Revit, and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Strong background in electrical systems including BMS, instrumentation and controls, low voltage fiber.
• Proficient in Windows and Office 365 and have a strong understanding of computer networks.
• Experience with project management software (Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
• Training in reading design documents, specs and drawings.
• Experience organizing technical data with CSI MasterFormat.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing and field practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction for electrical systems, including scope definition and budgeting.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules for electrical work and resources.
• Coordinate with design/engineering to review P&IDs, isometrics, BIM models, and layouts.
• Manage trade partners and internal crews for cleanrooms, data halls, and utility areas.
• Monitor project performance, costs, changes, and productivity with corrective actions.
• Coordinate with MEP systems to support uptime and commissioning milestones.
• Provide status reports and risk updates to leadership and clients.
