Job summary

Dow Inc. is hiring an Electrician/Instrument Technician at the Bristol site, supporting both Croydon and Bristol production plants.

The role focuses on safe maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements for instrument and electrical equipment across processes on site. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in instrumentation maintenance, and experience with instrumentation types such as flow elements, pressure sensors, and temperature probes.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years of instrumentation maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of Flow Elements/Sensors, Pressure Sensors, and Temperature Probes.
Willing and able to work overtime and respond to emergency calls.
U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

Maintain instrument and electrical equipment within area of responsibility, with instrumentation as the primary focus.
Set up, calibrate, test, measure, and repair electrical controls, instruments, and variables.
Repair, maintain, and install electrical and instrument equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions safely and document failure analysis.
Collect equipment history data to support reliability improvements.
Contribute to implementation of the Global Maintenance Work Process for E/I work.
Provide information to Work Activity Coordinator and Field Planner for job planning.
Coordinate E/I troubleshooting based on plant priority.
