Qualifications

• Active teaching certification or licensure required.

• Documented prior teaching experience or completion of instructor training before teaching.
• Experience meeting institutional and accreditation standards.
• Preferred: experience in proprietary education setting.

Responsibilities

• Utilize classroom and lab instruction, student assessment mechanisms, and classroom management techniques to provide an engaging educational experience for students.
• Ensure the material is presented to meet learning objectives for each course within the program.
• Prepare instructional materials and equipment so they are ready, sufficient, and in working order.
• Participate in faculty assessment, professional development, and maintain required certification and licensure.
• Attend meetings, review assessment data, compile reports, and meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation guidelines and internal policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
