Qualifications

• Active certification or licensure is required.
• At least 5 years of industry experience within the last 10 years.
• Prior to teaching, instructors either need documented teaching experience or complete the new instructor training.
• Ability to qualify as an instructor per institutional and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize classroom and lab instruction, student assessment mechanisms, and classroom management techniques to engage students.
• Ensure students meet learning objectives for each course within their program of study.
• Prepare instructional materials and equipment, maintain readiness and functionality.
• Participate in faculty assessment and professional development to ensure up-to-date classroom experience and required certifications.
• Attend meetings, review assessment data, produce reports, and meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
