Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience teaching electrical theory and hands-on lab work.
• Ability to interpret NEC and relevant electrical codes.
• Develop lesson plans, labs, demonstrations, and assessments.
• Support student preparation for industry credentials and licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and laboratory instruction in electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Teach electrical theory, calculations, code interpretation, wiring methods, and testing equipment.
• Develop lesson plans, labs, projects, and assessments; support NCCER curricula where applicable.
• Maintain a safe electrical laboratory; enforce OSHA and college safety procedures.
• Evaluate student performance, hold office hours, advise on progression and career opportunities.
• Participate in curriculum development, meetings, committees, and employer outreach.
