Job summary

Recent Jobs in Louisiana seeks an unclassified - faculty 9 month instructor in Electrical Technology for the DCC program. You will deliver classroom and laboratory instruction in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems, teach NEC code interpretations, and supervise hands-on projects.

Develop lessons, maintain syllabi, assess student learning, and guide students toward NCCER credentials and career opportunities in the electrical trade.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Technology or related field with relevant teaching experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems.
• Knowledge of NCCER curriculum and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom and laboratory instruction in electrical systems.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with course outcomes and maintain syllabi.
• Teach NEC and applicable electrical codes and safety procedures.
• Advise students on program progression and industry certifications.
• Maintain safe, organized electrical laboratories and equipment.
