Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electrical Installer to support the installation of lighting equipment and LED upgrades in Richmond, VA. You will read blueprints and schematics, install and repair wiring and fixtures, and ensure safety standards are met.

The role involves testing systems, coordinating with project managers and engineers, and working a 10-hour day Monday-Thursday on a fully onsite contract in Richmond. Opportunities for growth and a benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Electrical aptitude and installation experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical diagrams.
• Proficiency with power and hand tools; wiring and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Support installation of lighting equipment and LED upgrades.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to codes and standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical diagrams.
• Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and team members to complete installations on time.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices and hand tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools.
