What You'll Do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

• Participate in our Recruit Awesome People program to help grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture and referring top talent.
• Install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects, typically small to medium in size and complexity.
• Assist on larger, more complex projects as needed.
• Complete projects effectively within budget and schedule with guidance.
• Perform other duties as required.

What You'll Need

• Basic construction skills and understanding of system plans.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system drawings, including wiring and labeling methods.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and solid math skills.

Requirements

Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: Basic construction with electrical or low voltage background

Preferred Experience (not required): 1-3 years in electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data cabling, or building automation industries
