Electrical Assembler

Scientific Products, an ATS Company is expanding our team and has an immediate opening for an Electrical Assembler - 1st Shift! The primary responsibility of this role will be electrical assembly, completing work orders to ensure on-time delivery, maintaining quality standards, and complying with all internal and external customer requirements.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and assemble mechanical systems and sub-assemblies under supervisor guidance, including equipment preparation for testing.
2. Interpret drawings, process procedures, and documentation for component assembly.
3. Route, wire, assemble, and install electrical components in freeze dryers per specifications using jig boards, hand tools, and equipment.
4. Meet specification and quality standards cost-effectively and timely; suggest operational improvements and cost savings.
5. Assemble electro-mechanical systems and work with control applications like servos, motors, drives, and pneumatics.
6. Use schematics and documentation for assembly tasks.
7. Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical systems; prepare equipment for testing.
8. Complete manufacturing paperwork accurately and timely.
9. Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring ISO compliance.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform shop math.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• 5+ years electro-mechanical building experience preferred but not required.
• Experience working with various voltages, including high voltage (440 VAC).
• Knowledge of CGMP practices is a plus.
• PLC experience is a plus.

Pay rate: $20-24/hr
