Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a Level III Electrical Installation Technician to join our team, installing electrical systems for cutting-edge ropeway projects across North America.

You will perform EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination from control wires to motor leads, working with a team that values safety, precision, and excellence. This full-time, hourly role offers competitive pay between $34.91 and $38.58 per hour, commensurate with experience and certifications,

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician Certification required.
• 3–5 years electrical construction/install experience incl AC/DC drives & PLCs.
• Bachelor’s degree in electronics/electrical engineering or related field.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally with valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the United States; Canada work authorization possible.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems for ropeway projects across North America.
• EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination from control wires to motor leads.
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure safety, precision and reliability.

Leitner-Poma is seeking a skilled level III Electrical Installation Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in the installation and commissioning of cutting-edge ropeway transportation systems.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Your role as an Electrical Installation Technician will take you across all of North America, installing vital electrical systems for our ropeway transportation projects. You’ll showcase your technical skills through hands‑on work in EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination from control wires to motor leads. Take advantage of the opportunity to work with an experienced team that values innovation, precision, safety, and excellence. Higher level Technicians will be at the forefront of developing innovative processes & procedures for their teams, as well as providing mentorship & guidance.

This is a full‑time, hourly position hiring between $34.91- $38.58 per hour, based on relevant experience & certifications.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Journeyperson Electrician Certification
• At least 3-5 years of electrical construction and installation experience, including AC & DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Ability to travel domestically & internationally as needed, with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and at elevations in excess of 10,000 feet.
• Authorized to work in the United States of America.
• Ability to obtain work authorization in Canada.
• Proficient in the English language.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience operating equipment such as an all-terrain forklift.
• 5 or more years of electrical construction and installation experience, including AC & DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Master Electrician Certification.
