Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Installation Technician II to travel across North America, installing vital electrical systems for ropeway transportation projects.

You will work hands-on with EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination from control wires to motor leads, joining a team that values precision and safety. This is a full-time, hourly position offering $26.00-$34.00 per hour based on experience and certifications; applications review began and closes

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED equivalent.
• 2-3 years of electrical construction and installation experience, including AC & DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
• Ability to travel domestically & internationally as needed, with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and at elevations in excess of 10,000 feet.
• Authorized to work in the United States of America.
• Proficient in the English language.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Your role as an Electrical Installation Technician II will take you across all of North America, installing vital electrical systems for our ropeway transportation projects. You’ll showcase your technical skills through hands-on work in EMT bending, cable pulling, and conductor termination from control wires to motor leads. This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $26.00-$34.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma/GED equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years of electrical construction and installation experience, including AC & DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
• Ability to travel domestically & internationally as needed, with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, and at elevations in excess of 10,000 feet.
• Authorized to work in the United States of America.
• Proficient in the English language.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Journeyman Electrician certification.
• 3 or more years of electrical construction and installation experience, including AC & DC drives and PLC controls (Allen Bradley and ABB).
• Previous experience operating equipment such as an all-terrain forklift.
• Experience installing self-supporting cable systems.
• Basic rigging experience.
