Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking an Electrical Installation Lead to supervise and perform electrical installations for large and small-scale conveyors, robotic systems, and automation. The role focuses on leadership, scheduling, material management, and code enforcement across client sites.

The position requires extensive travel (up to 90%) to various project locations and the ability to manage teams and ensure safety and quality on every site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with demonstrated leadership capability.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safety measures on jobsite.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must possess hand tools.
• Eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
• Employees must follow information security policies and report security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems and lead installation teams.
• Minimize violations of NEC and electrical code while on-site.
• Train Installation Journeymen and Technicians.
• Meet schedule demands and drive site productivity.
• Oversee safety initiatives and training compliance.
• Approve timesheets and manage project expenses.
• Coordinate travel and resources for labor across sites.
• Support project management with status updates and coaching.

Job Summary

An Electrical Installation Lead for Toyota Automated Logistics is a hands-on position focusing on the installations of large-and small-scale conveyors, robotic, automation and commercial electrical systems. In this position you would be expected to have proven great overall installation and leadership abilities. You would be expected to be flexible and committed to maintaining project schedules, material and production management, and electrical code enforcement. This position requires continuous travel to client sites for the installation of material handling systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable in National Electric Code (NEC).
• Works to minimize violations of electrical code.
• Perform or assist in electrical installation work.
• Proficient in installation methods (terminology, conduit bending, wire pulling, terminating, and troubleshooting).
• Trains Installation Journeymen and Technicians.
• Leads site and personnel safety initiatives and meets safety training requirements.
• Responsible for meeting schedule demands and site production.
• Responds to the needs of project management.
• Coordinates cost-effective travel for project labor management.
• Coaches team members effectively.
• Safely delegate the tasks assigned by the Electrical Supervisor in a timely manner and up to quality standards.
• Manages and approves expense reports.
• Approved timesheets in ADP and D365 for Journeymen and Technicians.
• Assists in annual performance reviews for direct reports.

Travel Requirements

• Up to 90% travel. Minimum 3 weeks at a time.
