Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Electrical Inspector in Brooklyn, NY, for the NYC DEP Water Division. The role requires 20+ years in electrical installations, inspection, and project coordination on heavy construction contracts.

The inspector will oversee daily electrical inspections, QA/QC, testing oversight, and compliance with contract documents, NEC, and NFPA 70E. NYS Journeyman license preferred; NYCDEP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of electrical codes and inspection practices.
• Experience in QA/QC and contract documentation processes.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily construction electrical inspections and testing oversight.
• Verify contract document compliance and conduct instrument and control inspections.
• Document non-compliances and coordinate field changes with contractors.
• Attend project meetings and communicate results to PMs and engineers.
