Job summary

Techno is looking for an experienced Electrical Inspector for a critical role in a wastewater infrastructure upgrade project in New York City. The inspector will monitor electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of expertise, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors and engineers. OSHA 30 certification is required, and experience with NYCDEP projects is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10+ years of experience in electrical inspection on heavy civil, infrastructure, or water/wastewater projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution and controls.
• Experience working with NYCDEP on wastewater treatment plant projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection of electrical construction activities.
• Monitor contractor work for compliance with project specifications.
• Witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
