HDR, Inc. is offering an Electrical/IC Engineering Intern position in Ann Arbor, MI. This internship provides hands-on tasks under a Project Engineer, including design package preparation and basic calculations in a power and renewables setting.
The selected candidate will be a student or recent graduate in Electrical/IC Power engineering, with opportunities to work with CAD tools and participate in field reviews, meetings, and cross-training within HDR’s employee-owned culture.

The Electrical/I&C Engineering Intern position offers exciting opportunities in Power Generation and Renewables which may include cross training in other business groups, thus providing additional broad experiences in the electrical engineering field.
The selected candidate will be a current Electrical / I&C Power and Renewables Engineering student or recent graduate with little to no power experience required. Interns will perform tasks with varying levels of complexity, which are assigned by a Project Engineer, Project Leader, or Project Manager. Tasks will include being able to follow direction, assisting engineers in preparing design packages, performing simple calculations, attending internal meetings and participating in field reviews.
