HDR, Ann Arbor, Michigan location, is looking for a Civil / Structural Engineering Intern to join our team of professionals in a rapidly growing and nationally ranked company dedicated to engineering excellence. The selected candidate will be a current student or recent graduate with little to no power delivery experience. In this position you will be expected to:

• Perform tasks with varying levels of complexity, which are assigned by a Project Engineer, Project Leader, or Project Manager.
• Tasks will include being able to follow direction, assisting structural engineers in preparing design packages, performing simple calculations, attending internal meetings and participating in field reviews.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
• Courses in Power/Energy a plus
• Experience with computer-aided design programs (AutoCAD, Micro station, etc.) is desired but not required for consideration.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
