Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Electrical Helper to support utility-scale projects, focusing on safety, compliance, and on-the-job training under a journey-level electrician. You will measure, cut, bend wire and conduit and assist with electrical trades on site.

You will lift, move and organize materials, use hand and power tools, and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment, contributing to reliable energy infrastructure and team success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, blueprints, and related documents.
• Ability to work with power and non-powered hand tools.
• Willingness to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using hand tools.
• Safely use hand and power tools (drills, crimpers, cutters).
• Lift, position, and fasten objects.
• Prepare and supply materials for electrical trades.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and equipment.
• Work under supervision with standard instructions.
