• Experience in new construction preferred.

• Assist electricians with installation of conduit (EMT/Rigid/PVC), Romex, MC cable, pulling wire, lighting and lighting controls.
• Unload material/equipment and place near the area to be staged/installed.
• Maintain good housekeeping on site.
• Work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, roofs, and crawl spaces.
• Work in areas with heights.

Standard Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.

Position Summary

The Electrical Helper assists the onsite personnel with installation of HVAC/Electrical equipment, clean up, maintaining equipment and supplies.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist the onsite personnel with unloading material/equipment and placing it near the area on the project where it will be staged and or installed.


• Maintain good housekeeping while on site.


• At times, work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, roofs, and crawl spaces.


• At times, work in areas with heights.


• Electrical: Assist Electricians with installation of conduit (EMT/Rigid/PVC), Romex, mc cable, pulling wire, lighting, and lighting controls.


• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.


• Preferred: Experience in new construction

Physical Demands

• Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.


• Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.


• Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
