Job summary

The Romanoff Group is seeking an Electrical Helper - Multi-Family to support onsite HVAC and electrical installations on new housing construction projects. You will assist electricians, help unload materials, and keep work areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in new construction preferred.
  • 2+ years of electrical installation experience preferred.
  • Skid-steer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist onsite personnel with unloading materials and staging.
  • Maintain good housekeeping on site.
  • Work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Assist electricians with conduit, Romex, wiring, and lighting installation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Standard Work Schedule
  • Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change.
Position Summary

The Electrical Helper - Multi-Family assists the onsite personnel with installation of HVAC/Electrical equipment, clean up, maintaining equipment and supplies.

Position Responsibilities
  • Assist the onsite personnel with unloading material/equipment and placing it near the area on the project where it will be staged and or installed.
  • Maintain good housekeeping while on site.
  • At times, work in confined spaces such as attics, basements, roofs, and crawl spaces.
  • At times, work in areas with heights.
  • HVAC: Assists installer with placing and securing trunk, return lines, branch, and take off lines.
  • Electrical: Assist Electricians with installation of conduit (EMT/Rigid/PVC), Romex, mc cable, pulling wire, lighting, and lighting controls.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Experience in new construction
  • Preferred: 2+ years of electrical installation experience
  • Preferred: Skid-steer experience
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
  • Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.
