Job summary

US Chemical Storage designs and manufactures safe, compliant prefabricated chemical storage buildings. They are seeking an Electrician Helper to assist in installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring and lighting systems, and to work from technical blueprints with a strong emphasis on safety.

The role involves reading blueprints, following instructions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality electrical work for hazardous storage facilities.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings, specifications and work orders to determine work requirements.
• Follow safety practices and regulations for all tasks.
• Knowledge of electrical applications and codes; ability to work with high/low voltage components.

Responsibilities

• Read and study blueprints or drawings to determine work requirements and sequence of installations.
• Install, repair, maintain motors, lights, circuits, wiring and related electrical systems.
• Use electrical testing equipment to locate and diagnose faults.
• Work on ladders or heights and wear required PPE.
