Job summary

US Chemical Storage designs and manufactures safe, compliant prefabricated chemical storage buildings. We are seeking an Electrician Helper to assist in installing and repairing electrical control, wiring and lighting systems, and related heating/air units from technical blueprints.

The role requires attention to safety and the ability to work with minimal supervision while following all health and safety standards.

Qualifications

Must be able to read blueprints and work from technical drawings.
Knowledge of electrical applications for high and low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints, drawings, specifications and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence.
Use hand tools (hammer, drills, saws, screw guns, etc.) to install/repair electrical systems.
Install, repair, maintain motors, lights, circuits, wiring and related components per electrical codes.
Operate testing equipment to locate and diagnose electrical issues.
Participate in cross-functional teams for Continuous Improvement.
Measure and bend wire and conduit as required.
Drill holes for wiring and pull wiring through openings.
Complete inspections and perform repairs as needed.
Work at heights using proper fall protection.
