Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Chester, VA is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper to support commercial electricians on site. This role requires OSHA-10 or the ability to obtain it, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Travel may be required.

The position emphasizes safety, material handling, and assisting with conduit, wires, and ladder work on commercial projects in the Chester area.

Qualifications

• 2 years recent commercial electrical field experience.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
