Job summary

Townsend Company LLC and Gunnison Tree Service are seeking an Electrical Hazards Training Specialist/Program Coordinator to administer, schedule, and continuously improve the Electrical Hazards Training Trailer Program. You will deliver classroom and live demonstrations, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and equipment readiness throughout the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Utility Operations, Education, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in utility vegetation management, electric utility operations, line clearance arboriculture, or a related industry.
• Demonstrated experience delivering classroom and field-based training.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management abilities.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to meet Company driver qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Company's subject matter expert for the Electrical Hazards Training Trailer Program.
• Deliver engaging, technically accurate training.
• Maintain the Electrical Hazards Training Trailer in a constant state of operational readiness.
• Manage scheduling, logistics, transportation, inspections, maintenance, and inventory for the trailer.
• Qualify, evaluate, and support Electrical Hazards Training Demonstrators.
• Maintain training records and compliance with OSHA/ANSI regulations.
• Develop and update lesson plans and training materials.
• Coordinate Train-the-Trainer programs and instructor evaluations.
